Let’s drive to the seaside…

…Mr K said yesterday morning. So we did!  We jumped in the car and headed down to Portsea, and explored all the little towns along the way.  I begged for us to stop at Frankston Savers, but alas, Mr K would not budge on that one. So we kept driving, past Mt Eliza, and thought of you, E. Then on to Rye and BlairGowrie, and soon we were in Sorrento and Portsea. We ended up at Portsea Hotel just in time for lunch! Then a quick stop off at Sorrento back beach, so Mr K could see the ocean.

Despite the cold wind & grey skies, it was lovely to see the ocean.  It made me think of beach houses, salty hair,  summer dresses, icypoles, and brushing the sand off your feet.  Even to feel sunshine on our faces would be nice wonderful at the moment! Can’t wait for summer…
