Sunday – 1:19pm

It’s Sunday afternoon. The house is immaculately clean, thanks to a frenzy of activity yesterday morning, and the the weather’s cooled down to an easy 22 degrees. We’re staying inside.
I’m happy to be keeping a low profile this weekend, as this next week is promising to be a crazy one. The kind of week that makes your heart race, your stomach churn, and you’re sleep interrupted. The kind of work & stress you can only appreciate once it’s over.
So I’m using the cool air as an excuse to make comfort food, read the paper, drink endless cups of tea, watch movies and have naps.

Comfort food: Mushroom & Barley soup with fresh parmesan. Maybe a batch of Almond Shortbread later.
Entertainment: Annie Hall. And perhaps some Winter Olympics.

What are you doing this Sunday afternoon?
